About Hybrid Electric Cars & Rick

The Hybrid Electric Cars website is a resource for all who are interested in researching or even just curious about Hybrid automobiles. Rick Tamlin, an Automobile Mechanic who owns his second Hybrid car now, (as of August 2006) runs this site as a free service to others who are looking for more information.

We would like to stress that all information, reviews, and resources found on this website will be unbiased information, freely available to all.

As a child Rick had aspirations of becoming an automobile designer for a major corporation like Ford or Chrysler, but it just wasn't in the cards for him.

By the time he was 20 years old, he had his own automobile repair shop in a small town in Texas.

Now retired, Rick's favorite hobby is collecting cars, and his two Hybrid Electric-Gas cars are his pride and joy of the collection.

In an effort to remain unbiased for fair reporting of comparisons on this website, Rick doesn't want to reveal which two hybrids he purchased. -His friends and family would tell you that he picked the two best ones though.

Several of Rick's friends and fellow Hybrid enthusiasts help him with content and shared information for this website. He would like to take the opportunity to thank them all here.
